Congratulations on your recent grant from the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend. The Community Foundation is pleased to have provided funding for your organization. Sharing the good news of your grant helps you, recognizes the Foundation and its donors, and promotes philanthropy in the Quad Cities area.

The following guidelines are intended to assist you in communicating your grant from the Community Foundation. Please make sure this information rests in the hands of those who are responsible for writing publicity and publications for your organization.

• Include news of your grant in any publications you produce for distribution. This includes news releases, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, board minutes, etc. The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend’s name and logo should appear in publications and/or signage of an event funded by the grant. • Acknowledgement of your grant. Acknowledgement of the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend grant should appear as follows for newsletters and other publications. The name of fund(s) supporting your grant are listed in the award letter accompanying your grant payment:

• Foundation facts. The additional text should be included to describe the Community Foundation, if space permits:
  
  The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend is a family of nearly 500 charitable funds, each created by donors to serve the local causes of their choice. Grants from these funds serve individuals, families and organizations throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Established in 1964, the Community Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter.
