Grant Information

The Community Foundation of Van Buren County is here to help our community's charitable projects and programs contribute to the quality of life in our area. One of the ways that is done is through grantmaking. The Community Foundation currently has one granting cycle each year.

The Community Foundation of Van Buren County accepts grant applications from charitable projects and programs impacting a wide range of needs in the community--arts and culture, health, human services, community betterment, historic preservation, etc.

Grant Seekers

Grants applications will be accepted from January 1, 2018 through March 15, 2018.  

Grant Recipients

Organizations that receive grant awards from the Community Foundation will be required to complete a final report.

Grant Information

The Community Foundation of Van Buren County, Iowa, as a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend (CFGRB), uses the CFGRB's online grants application system. This allows our applicants to complete, save, and submit their grant applications and final reports in one place and have ongoing access to them. For a brief overview of the features of this system, click here.

To apply for grants from the Community Foundation of Van Buren County, Iowa, applicants must create their own organizational profile and login information on the system. They can then select the Community Foundation of Van Buren County's grant opportunity from the list and create an application.
