Historic Oakdale Cemetery Gains Financial Security for Perpetual Care Funds

August 18, 2009The Quad Cities has been chosen as one of 10 locations nationwide to receive funding from Partners Investing in Nursing’s Future (PIN) a unique national initiative to help address the long-term shortage of nurses across the country. To help develop solutions and lead efforts within the Quad Cities area, the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend has been awarded a two-year grant of $150,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Northwest Health Foundation.
