Grant Information

Grants are issued annually to nonprofit organizations that have a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status. Last year GIFT proudly awarded over $160,000 in grants to support schools, hospitals, nursing homes and various organizations throughout our community. These funds were made available by donors who had the philanthropic passion to establish endowments for these purposes.

Please note: New in 2014 - All of our grant applications are now required to be submitted online.

The Bill and Susan Sherrard Foundation online application can be found by clicking here.

All other GIFT Grant applications must be submitted using the process below:

GIFT, as a component fund of the Community Foundation of Great River Bend (CFGRB), uses CFGRB’s online grant application system. Our online grant system allows applicants to complete, save and submit their grant applications and final reports in one place and have ongoing access to them.
