Fulton Kiwanis Club Endowment

HISTORY:
For over 90 years, the Fulton Kiwanis Club has improved the quality of life for young families and seniors in the Fulton area.  One visible symbol is Kiwanis Park whIch was created over 40 years ago.  The lack of athletic fields and playgrounds in Fulton's lower-income, south side needed attention.  The City of Fulton took over the complex in recent years with continued support by the Club.

PURPOSE:
This Kiwanis Endowment Fund complements today's work of 30+ Fulton area Kiwanis Club members.  Members contribute each year over 1000 hours and raise over $10,000 to serve youth, young families and seniors.  Over one half of these hours are currently dedicated to fundraising.  Funding this Endowment allows more of member volunteer efforts to be focused on service to the community instead of fund-raising.

IMPACT:
The Club is more active than it has ever been in the past 90 years.  New members bring ideas, talent and resources.  An endowment fund has been a natural outcome.  The future is bright for Fulton with the help of its Kiwanis Club and Kiwanis Key Clubs in both Fulton and Unity High Schools.  Your contributions to the Fulton Kiwanis Endowment Fund is making a difference!!  The Club's Jan Mitchell Golf Outing, the Harvey Suehl Christmas Fund, raffles and grant applications are now complemented with this endowment.  We welcome your support and ideas for helping our young families.
