Endow Iowa
The Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program was established in 2003 to increase philanthropic activity and to enhance the quality of life for Iowans by encouraging investments to new or existing community foundations. As an incentive for giving to endowment funds established at qualified community foundations, such as the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend, a 25% Iowa tax credit may be awarded.
The Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program is administered by the Iowa Department of Economic Development and encourages individuals and organizations to make lasting investments in their communities by building charitable endowments. Since the program's inception, $59 million has been leveraged and has impacted all areas of community life, such as the arts, education, health, environment, community development, human services and more.
