Scott County Family Y - Child Care Service Endowment

Due to the termination of Neighborhood Place, the Community Foundation Board of Directors, along with the donor and board members of Neighborhood Place, have re-designated the Neighborhood Place Fund to the Scott County Family Y - Child Care Services. These programs have very similar goals. The Y provides daycare for children from six weeks of age through intermediate school, when parents cannot be there themselves. Approximately 500 children receive services during the school year, with additional summer programs at the downtown Davenport Y, school sites, county community programs and Camp Abe Lincoln. Trained staff provide safe, affordable, high quality care so parents can have peace of mind while they work to help their families.
