Illowa Council, Boy Scouts of America Endowment

The Illowa Council of Boy Scouts of America, based in Davenport, Iowa, works consistently to put their mission into action. They guide and build their boy scouts through outdoor experiences, scout role models, active communication, empowerment of volunteers, increasing membership, improving fiscal strength and remaining aware of their quality of performance and caliber of scouts.

The Illowa Council has 83 boy scout troops and 113 cub scouts. They maintain a total of 245 units, serving both Illinois and Iowa. They serve 7,700 youth and 2,600 adult leaders in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Through their services, the Illowa Boy Scout Council helps their scouts practice ethics and leadership that will prepare them to be quality citizens in their community.
